Make Ready

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete make-ready checklists
• Restore units to market-ready status, including repairing windows, screens, hinges, and baseboards
• Perform minor plumbing and electrical tasks, such as replacing lights, faucets, and washers
• Assist with appliance removal, installation, and troubleshooting
• Execute painting duties, plaster repair, and tile backsplash installation
• Maintain unit cleanliness by changing A/C filters and operating carpet cleaning equipment
• Assist with apartment "trash-outs" by moving heavy or bulky items to dumpsters
• Coordinate with Lead Maintenance and Community Managers regarding necessary repairs

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of full-time related maintenance experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work on-call and during extended hours, including weekends
• Knowledge of work safety habits and ability to work both independently and in a team
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish
