Make Ready

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete make-ready checklists
• Restore units to market-ready status through various repairs and maintenance tasks
• Replace or repair windows, screens, hinges, sliding glass doors, shelves, and baseboards
• Perform minor plumbing repairs, such as replacing faucet sink plugs and washers
• Assist with appliance removal, installation, and troubleshooting
• Execute painting duties, including repairing plaster holes in walls
• Install ceramic tile backsplashes and perform minor bathroom tile repairs
• Change A/C filters and operate carpet cleaning equipment
• Assist with apartment "trash-outs" by moving heavy or bulky items to dumpsters
• Maintain all business activities in accordance with company policies and safety standards

Requirements

• Minimum one year of full-time related maintenance experience
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work on call for emergencies and extended hours, including weekends
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to organize, prioritize work, and maintain meticulous attention to detail
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and move heavy items

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual skills in Spanish
