Make Ready

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete make-ready checklists
• Restore units to market-ready status for new move-ins
• Perform repairs including lighting, windows, screens, hinges, and baseboards
• Maintain appliances and assist with their removal or replacement
• Execute minor plumbing and electrical tasks such as replacing washers and faucet plugs
• Perform cosmetic repairs including painting, plaster repair, and tile backsplash installation
• Operate carpet cleaning equipment and change A/C filters
• Assist with apartment trash-outs and moving heavy/bulky items
• Communicate needed services and repairs to the Lead Maintenance and Community Manager

Requirements

• Minimum one year of full-time related maintenance experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work on call and extended hours, including weekends
• Knowledge of work safety habits and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish
