Make Ready

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete make-ready checklists
• Restore units to market-ready status through various repairs and maintenance tasks
• Replace or repair windows, screens, hinges, sliding glass doors, shelves, and baseboards
• Perform minor plumbing repairs, such as checking faucet sink plugs and replacing washers
• Handle electrical tasks including replacing lights and changing A/C filters
• Assist with painting, plaster repair, and installing ceramic tile backsplashes
• Operate carpet cleaning equipment and assist with apartment trash-outs
• Communicate needed services and repairs to the Lead Maintenance and Community Manager

Requirements

• Minimum one year of full-time related experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work on call, including after-hours and weekends as necessary
• Knowledge of work safety habits and attention to detail
• Ability to organize, prioritize work, and work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish is a plus
