Make Ready

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete make-ready checklists
• Restore units to market-ready status through various repairs and maintenance tasks
• Replace or repair items including lights, windows, screens, hinges, shelving, and baseboards
• Perform minor plumbing repairs such as fixing faucet sink plugs and replacing washers
• Assist with appliance removal, installation, and troubleshooting
• Execute painting duties, plaster repair, and tile backsplash installation
• Maintain apartment cleanliness by changing A/C filters and operating carpet cleaning equipment
• Assist with apartment "trash-outs" by moving heavy or bulky items to dumpsters
• Communicate needed services and repairs to the Lead Maintenance and Community Manager

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of full-time related maintenance experience
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work on call for emergencies and work extended hours, including weekends
• Knowledge of work safety habits and ability to work both independently and in a team
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish
