Make Ready

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete make-ready checklists to ensure units are market-ready.
• Perform various repairs including replacing lights, windows, screens, hinges, shelving, and baseboards.
• Maintain appliances, faucets, and plumbing fixtures, including repairing or replacing washers and sink plugs.
• Execute cosmetic improvements such as painting, repairing plaster holes, and installing ceramic tile backsplashes.
• Handle minor electrical and HVAC tasks like changing A/C filters and repairing ceiling fans.
• Operate carpet cleaning equipment and assist with apartment "trash-outs" by moving heavy items.
• Coordinate with the Lead Maintenance and Community Manager regarding necessary services and repairs.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of full-time related maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written); bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work on-call for emergencies and extended hours, including weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of work safety habits and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
