Make Ready

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete make-ready checklists
• Restore units to market-ready status, including repairing windows, screens, hinges, and baseboards
• Perform minor plumbing and electrical tasks, such as replacing lights, faucets, and washers
• Assist with appliance removal, installation, and troubleshooting
• Execute painting duties, plaster repair, and tile backsplash installation
• Maintain apartment cleanliness by operating carpet cleaning equipment and assisting with trash-outs
• Change A/C filters and repair or replace curtains and mini-blinds
• Coordinate with the Lead Maintenance and Community Manager regarding necessary repairs

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of full-time related maintenance experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work on-call, including after-hours and weekends as necessary
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Knowledge of work safety habits and ability to work both independently and in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish
