Major Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and deliverables
• Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive risk management strategies
• Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain clear communication channels
• Monitor project progress, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards in Qatar
• Mentor and develop team members to enhance project management capabilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management
• Proficiency in MS Project or similar project management software
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
• Familiarity with Qatar's business environment and local regulations
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the Middle East region
