About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of high-capacity donors and prospects to secure significant philanthropic support.
- Partner with academic deans and institutional leaders to design and execute integrated major gift strategies.
- Conduct 12–15 substantive personal visits per month with alumni, donors, and prospects.
- Generate new leads and qualify gift prospects through research, faculty networks, and prospect tracking tools.
- Create targeted donor proposals and execute stewardship strategies for new and existing gifts.
- Collaborate with University Relations to identify mid-level donors for gift upgrades.
- Maintain accurate donor and prospect information within the CRM system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5 to 7 years of direct fundraising experience.
- Proven track record of securing six- and seven-figure gifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with constituent relations software such as Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM.
- Active Driver’s License.
