Major Corrective Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Lead the service and maintenance of wind turbines to ensure high operational reliability and customer satisfaction.
• Perform large component replacements and major corrective actions on-site.
• Collaborate with customers to coordinate service operations and resolve technical product issues.
• Execute technical tasks including basic commissioning, component integration, and routine maintenance.
• Adhere to the highest safety standards during all on-site and remote service operations.
• Travel as needed for training and corrective actions at diverse wind farm locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma, preferably in a mechanical or electrical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the electricity or mechanical industry.
• Comfort working at high altitudes with strong safety awareness.
• Experience working with cranes and platforms.
• Valid driving license.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal) for documentation and communication.
• Flexibility and readiness to travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience specifically within the wind energy industry.
