About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate dining services in the restaurant and during banquet or seminar events
- Assist the Food & Beverage Manager with the daily management of restaurant and banquet operations
- Ensure the proper setup and presentation of all dining areas
- Manage guest relations to ensure high levels of satisfaction throughout their experience
- Lead, train, and motivate the service team, including assistant Maitre d'Hôtel, chefs de rang, and commis
- Oversee operational compliance, including strict adherence to hygiene and safety standards
- Manage guest billing and payments
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service between the kitchen and the dining room
Requirements
- Proven experience in fine dining or a gastronomic restaurant
- Previous experience working in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment
- Fluency in English to effectively serve our international clientele
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- High standards of personal presentation and professional rigor
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
