Maintenance/Millwright

Responsibilities

• Safely maintain and install production equipment to ensure high-quality manufacturing operations
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on motors, powered transmissions, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and conveying systems
• Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation or using precision testing devices
• Read technical manuals and blueprints to understand equipment and controls
• Repair and rebuild pumps, gear units, air equipment, and other production machinery
• Maintain accurate mechanical information by completing Maximo work orders daily
• Adhere to all safety, GMP, and food quality rules to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in the maintenance field or a related area
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical skills, including knowledge of manual and automatic tools, level and alignment, and troubleshooting
• Ability to lift and transport materials up to 55 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work rotating shifts (2nd, 3rd, or swing) and overtime, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to work in various physical conditions, including climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and wearing respirators
