Maintenance Workshop Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance activities for engines, aircraft, and equipment within a complex industrial environment.
• Manage a team of 26 technicians (working in 3x8 shifts) across electrical, mechanical, and IT disciplines, including two apprentices.
• Ensure strict compliance with Work Safety and Flight Safety requirements on a daily basis.
• Monitor and control workshop activity to meet operational objectives and maintain high quality standards.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS/GMAO) to plan and track interventions.
• Act as a proactive driver for innovation to meet the challenges of a competitive aeronautical market.
• Foster a culture of safety and quality by encouraging team communication and risk reduction.

Requirements

• Technical background with a Bac+2/3 and at least 10 years of experience, OR a Bac+5 with at least 5 years of experience.
• Proven experience in operational team management (e.g., production units, repair workshops, or technical offices).
• English proficiency at a B2 level.
• Strong analytical, synthesis, and decision-making skills to handle complex technical issues.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, listening, and the ability to lead by example.
