About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing inspections, painting, and plastering
- Inspect and maintain fire safety equipment, including fire exit signs, alarm pull stations, and fire doors
- Conduct regular building perimeter inspections for damage or vandalism
- Maintain cleanliness of exterior areas, including sidewalks, fenced compounds, and courtyards
- Replace lighting fixtures and bulbs in residential and hostel areas
- Complete assigned work orders and assist the Property Manager and Supervisor as required
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
- 3 to 12 months of related experience in cleaning and general maintenance procedures
- High School Graduate or equivalent level of education and experience
- Ability to lift 30+ lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and ladder work
- Ability to pass a satisfactory vulnerable sector police check
