Maintenance Worker

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing inspections, painting, and plastering
• Inspect and maintain fire safety equipment, including fire exit signs, alarm pull stations, and fire doors
• Conduct regular building perimeter inspections for damage or vandalism
• Maintain cleanliness of exterior areas, including sidewalks, fenced compounds, and courtyards
• Replace lighting fixtures and bulbs in residential and hostel areas
• Complete assigned work orders and assist the Property Manager and Supervisor as required
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements

• 3 to 12 months of related experience in cleaning and general maintenance procedures
• High School Graduate or equivalent level of education and experience
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and ladder work
• Ability to pass a satisfactory vulnerable sector police check
