Maintenance Worker

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out planned and non-planned maintenance for facilities, equipment, tooling, and systems
• Perform repairs on small tools, automation, vehicles, and equipment
• Assist Lead Hand with creating scopes of work, take offs, and ordering materials/subcontractors
• Track inventory and update completed work orders in CMMS
• Conduct audits and periodic inspections of building structures to determine repair needs
• Assist leadership with Job Hazards Assessments and incident reports
• Facilitate safe work practices in compliance with Alberta Health and Safety regulations

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined with practical knowledge of mechanics and small engine repair
• 4-6 years of trade experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Millwright skills are considered an asset
• Ability to instruct and maintain productivity from departmental personnel
• Must pass drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment
