About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance checks on camp assets such as light bulbs, doors, and taps
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues including plumbing, appliances, and HVAC systems
- Complete light carpentry duties and filter replacements
- Remove garbage from dorms and dispose of it at designated sites daily
- Perform snow removal as required
- Assist janitorial and housekeeping staff with heavy lifting
- Perform data entry for maintenance issues and repairs
Requirements
- Related maintenance experience in remote lodge, hotel, institutional, or construction settings
- Knowledge and experience using light power tools
- Ability to commit to a 2 week on/1 week off rotation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications and maintenance reporting software
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid G Class or Class 5 Driver's License with a clean abstract
