Maintenance Worker 1 - Gardens

Responsibilities

• Perform general garden clean-up, trash disposal, and storm drain maintenance
• Repair lawn damage, mow sections, and trim memorial tablets
• Replant landscapes and apply landscape chemicals such as fertilizers and herbicides
• Operate specialized equipment to move materials and perform maintenance tasks
• Assist client families and guests with grounds maintenance requests
• Assist in completing interments and setting up/cleaning up for special events

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a maintenance position
• High school diploma or GED certification
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Availability to work weekends and holidays
• Ability to work on-site in Glendale, CA
• Must maintain a caring and professional demeanor when assisting families

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
