Maintenance Tradesperson

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and align machinery and mechanical systems according to blueprints
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on industrial equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement solutions promptly
• Fabricate, modify, and repair machine components
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, motors, and control systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel to ensure minimal production downtime
• Maintain accurate records of all mechanical and electrical work completed
• Comply with all Health & Safety policies and PPE requirements

Requirements

• Journeyman (Red Seal) Millwright or Journeyman Electrician certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial machinery, and PLC
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
• Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in confined spaces

Preferred Qualifications

• Dual certifications in both Millwright and Electrician trades
• Aerial Work Platform Safety Training certificate
• Fall Protection certificate
• Forklift certificate
