Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, electrical (including PLC), and hydraulic systems during planned and unexpected downtime.
• Execute proactive preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to maximize machine uptime and robustness.
• Drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvements by identifying and escalating technical issues.
• Analyze machine downtime to identify and resolve mechanical issues before they occur.
• Maintain meticulous records of maintenance activities and manage critical replacement parts inventory.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized equipment repairs and upgrades.
• Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to all safety standards and OSHA guidelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance technician role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills in mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Electrical certification or formal education in industrial electronics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Competency in the English language.
• Strong organizational, task management, and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the automotive manufacturing industry.
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLC programming.
• Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) systems.
• Familiarity with Honing and Machining processes.
• Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) regulations.
