Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain infrastructure systems, facilities, and grounds to ensure efficient plant operations
• Manage bottled gas inventory, including ordering, documenting, and distribution
• Coordinate machined chip recycling and maintain cardboard, wood pallet, and electronic recycling efforts
• Perform machine coolant duties, including tending and cleaning up spills
• Execute outdoor maintenance tasks such as snow removal, tree trimming, and trash cleanup
• Support Helpdesk requests and assist in general plant operations
• Coordinate orders and deliveries with various suppliers

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills for work order documentation
• Experience with forklift operation and other plant maintenance equipment
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including pushing/pulling 60 pounds
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed
• Willingness to support weekend and holiday call-in requests
