About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control industrial supply systems including water, steam, compressed air, cooling, and energy.
- Perform regular inspections and parameter checks to detect deviations and implement corrective measures.
- Operate control systems (PCS 7) and coordinate with production to ensure supply continuity.
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance, including diagnostics for pumps, compressors, and heat exchangers.
- Maintain water treatment plants involving filtration, reverse osmosis, and cleaning processes.
- Assist in the assembly and commissioning of new production units and modernization projects.
- Document all tasks and interventions using CMMS tools while adhering to safety and environmental standards.
- Participate in the on-call service (Pikett) to ensure plant availability outside regular working hours.
Requirements
- Completed training as a Maintenance Mechanic, Polymechanic (EFZ), or Electrical Technician.
- Strong knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical engineering (automation/control technology).
- Proficiency in water treatment processes (filtration, reverse osmosis, softening).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including P&IDs and electrical schematics.
- Fluency in German (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Valid Category B driver's license.
- Willingness to participate in the on-call service rotation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced training as a Maintenance Specialist.
- Knowledge of French.
- Valid SUVA forklift license and training for aerial work platforms/lifts.
- Experience with CMMS tools and professional measuring equipment.
