Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Evaluate properties and make recommendations for necessary repairs
• Maintain detailed records of time and maintenance charges for assigned work orders
• Perform repairs and equipment replacements including stoves, refrigerators, hot water heaters, and furnaces
• Execute maintenance tasks involving electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and roofing

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Three years of comparable experience in maintenance work
• Demonstrated skills and mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical trades
• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a low-risk driving record
• Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions in English

Preferred Qualifications

• General knowledge of appliance repairs
• Understanding of HVAC systems
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email and internet programs
