Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections to reduce downtime
• Conduct basic electrical and boiler maintenance
• Fabricate and install new equipment or systems as required
• Enforce safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and confined space permits
• Schedule and coordinate downtime with production for repairs
• Maintain inventory and order spare parts to ensure availability
• Complete accurate computer-based entries for work orders and PM tasks

Requirements

• Millwright ticket or actively working toward certification
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and computerized work order platforms
• Ability to work rotational shifts, overtime, and participate in an on-call schedule
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg, climb ladders, bend, and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
