About the role
Responsibilities
- Respond to maintenance and repair service requests and carry out preventive maintenance tasks
- Prepare apartments for turnovers including basic appliance repair, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical work
- Use Entrata and CMMS systems to log service requests and completed work
- Inspect vacated apartments and common areas to identify necessary repairs
- Maintain property physical condition according to SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards
- Perform pool maintenance including chemical adjustment and cleaning
- Manage parts and supplies inventory and maintain organized workshops and utility rooms
- Assume responsibility for after-hours emergencies as directed
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma
- 1-3 years of full-time general maintenance experience
- EPA 608 Type I certification
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or willingness to obtain within six months
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 100 lbs
- Proficiency with computer programs like Entrata or CMMS
