Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform rotating equipment repairs, troubleshooting, alignment, and seal repairs
• Execute preventive maintenance functions on plant equipment as needed
• Install, repair, and calibrate instrumentation, including analytical tools
• Troubleshoot and repair DCS components (Emerson Delta V preferred) and PLC systems
• Install and repair electrical control systems and motor controls
• Perform mechanical, piping, and vessel entry duties, including valve maintenance
• Utilize light rigging and light load lifting equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics

Requirements

• High school diploma or an advanced technical degree
• Proven experience working within a manufacturing plant environment
• Strong experience with electrical controls and systems
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC and DCS systems
• Experience with piping joints, gaskets, and small-diameter tubing fittings

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a chemical facility
• Experience with Emerson Delta V DCS systems
