About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete repairs in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot production equipment to minimize downtime
- Conduct facility maintenance and basic property upkeep including painting and plumbing
- Utilize voltmeters and general shop tools safely and effectively
- Maintain maintenance records and document completed work
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience using voltmeters and general maintenance tools
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Clean background check
- Local to the Columbus, Ohio area
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with 480-volt electrical systems
- PLC troubleshooting and maintenance experience
- Manufacturing or automotive industry experience
