Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, conveyors, machinery, and building systems
• Repair or replace worn and defective components to minimize equipment downtime
• Complete emergency repairs in a timely manner
• Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and facility improvement projects
• Perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical assembly as required
• Coordinate and support work performed by outside contractors and service providers
• Maintain maintenance records and document completed repairs
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop and work area
• Perform general building and grounds maintenance as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and preventative maintenance practices
• Welding and metal fabrication experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
