Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance on equipment following safety procedures and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and quality issues
• Perform breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance, and changeovers on production equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics to diagnose machinery
• Fabricate and install repair parts using machine shop tools
• Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies
• Use computerized maintenance management systems to track equipment status
• Operate powered industrial trucks, overhead cranes, and portable cranes

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, or maintenance environments
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic familiarity with hand/power tools and precision measuring devices
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Ability to pass job-related testing, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical/trade school, apprenticeship, or military training
• Prior exposure to electrical systems and PLCs
