Responsibilities

• Serve as the Maintenance Technician Supervisor and Lead Technician for all shifts and processes in connector manufacturing
• Ensure general safety of all Automation/Hand Fill equipment
• Coordinate schedules for the technical group to ensure adequate coverage
• Manage staff including discipline and performance evaluations
• Procure necessary tools, supplies, and equipment for the technician staff
• Coordinate projects on existing machinery to improve quality, throughput, and safety
• Manage the Preventative Maintenance program for all manufacturing process related equipment
• Investigate issues related to automated manufacturing with engineering, quality, and customer service departments
• Interface with engineering on tooling and machinery for new projects and products

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Technician on Automated Machines in a manufacturing environment
• Engineering Degree
• 20/40 correctable vision
• Ability to lift 70 lbs. from floor to waist
• Capability to stand or sit for more than 90 minutes straight

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Technical education or certification as a Machinist or Journeyman Toolmaker
