Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Modify and maintain test stands and ground support equipment for rocket engine and component testing
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hardware in fluid, structural, and mechanical subsystems
• Maintain structural/mechanical systems including rollers, bearings, and rams
• Maintain fluid systems including process piping, pumps, valves, and filters
• Collaborate with design and operations engineers to provide feedback and drive improvements
• Follow all safety and quality regulations including OSHA, EPA, and ASME standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 3+ years of experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, cryogenic, high-pressure gas, or data systems
• Ability to work 2nd shift (1:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.)
• Ability to work at elevated heights up to 300 feet
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 25 pounds
• Ability to work in extreme outdoor environments
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required for ITAR compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a maintenance technician, mechanic, or field service engineer
• Experience with schematics for fluid routing and electrical components
• Knowledge of vacuum systems, HVAC, and rotating machinery
• Experience with high-pressure gas, cryogenic, or flammable systems
• Proficiency with CMMS or ERP systems like Maximo or SAP
• Operational knowledge of process instrumentation such as pressure transducers and flow meters
