Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance of mechanical and hydraulic components for production machines, including metal fabricating tools and material-handling systems.
• Complete periodic preventive maintenance to ensure machine availability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and overhaul electrical and mechanical systems such as pumps, gearboxes, and drive mechanisms.
• Use standard measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
• Complete fabrication projects using tool room equipment like engine lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment.
• Utilize CMMS systems to record work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and participate in continuous improvement (lean) activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with various hand and power tools.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and moving freely.
• Ability to read and follow detailed written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machine repair.
