Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance including preventative maintenance, machine repair, and metal fabrication
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, control circuits, and electronic components in production equipment
• Dismantle machines, replace defective parts/motors, and adjust feed mechanisms
• Clean and lubricate machine parts such as shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearings
• Maintain plumbing, including clearing clogged drains and replacing fixtures
• Operate welding machines to repair or join metal parts
• Operate forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts as required
• Analyze electronic systems to recommend design modifications for improved productivity and safety

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TIG welding
