Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Perform preventative maintenance on production machines and facility equipment
• Inspect assigned equipment and report findings to management
• Complete work orders and update the maintenance tracking system
• Identify and recommend corrections for electrical issues using knowledge of drives and PLCs
• Ensure machine productivity and quality following repairs, changeovers, or downtime
• Maintain an inventory of repair equipment and supplies
• Respond quickly to safety concerns or immediate dangers to prevent employee injury
• Maintain building safety and appearance, including utilities, ventilation, and plumbing

Requirements

• 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of electricity and electrical troubleshooting
• Experience with MIG or arc welding
• Ability to understand and interpret gauges, tools, and instruments
• Forklift experience (training will be provided)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of and experience with PLCs and drives
• Relevant technical certifications
