Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and service electrical and electronic systems, machinery, and controls
• Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams, and drawings to install, repair, and calibrate electronic devices
• Troubleshoot and repair electric controls, motor control centers, and programmable logic controls (PLCs)
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and maintain equipment logs
• Respond to safety concerns and rectify immediate dangers
• Calibrate testing instruments and equipment to prescribed specifications

Requirements

• Electrical apprenticeship and/or vocational school/technology certificate in electricity
• Five years of electrical technical hands-on experience
• Experience wiring automation machine control panels and PLCs
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code and National Electrical Safety Code
• Ability to use hand, power, and specialty diagnostic tools
• Ability to read and understand gauges and technical instruments

Preferred Qualifications

• Scissor lift driving experience
