Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Perform preventative maintenance on production machines and facility equipment
• Identify and recommend corrections on electrical issues using knowledge of drives and PLCs
• Complete work orders and update maintenance tracking systems
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
• Respond to safety concerns and rectify immediate dangers
• Maintain building safety, utilities, ventilation, and plumbing

Requirements

• 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Good working knowledge of electricity and electrical troubleshooting
• Experience with MIG and/or arc welding
• Ability to understand and interpret gauges, tools, and instruments
• Forklift experience (training provided)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with PLCs and drives
• High school diploma or GED
• Relevant technical certifications
