Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment to support business objectives.
• Diagnose equipment problems by analyzing test results, machine error messages, and operator feedback.
• Perform preventative maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machinery parts.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including motors, gearboxes, and VFD/HMI/Servo control devices.
• Operate and support industrial refrigeration, boiler, and utility operations.
• Complete accurate documentation of maintenance records and work orders in SAP or other ERP systems.
• Comply with all safety regulations, SOPs, SQF, GMP, and 5S guidelines.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration, high-pressure boilers, and utility operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted frequently throughout a shift.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using SAP or other computer-based maintenance planning/PM ERP platforms.
• Strong background in computerized or automated controls.
