About the role
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment to support business objectives.
- Diagnose equipment problems by analyzing test results, machine error messages, and operator feedback.
- Perform preventative maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machinery parts.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including motors, gearboxes, and VFD/HMI/Servo control devices.
- Operate and support industrial refrigeration, boiler, and utility operations.
- Complete accurate documentation of maintenance records and work orders in SAP or other ERP systems.
- Comply with all safety regulations, SOPs, SQF, GMP, and 5S guidelines.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration, high-pressure boilers, and utility operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted frequently throughout a shift.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using SAP or other computer-based maintenance planning/PM ERP platforms.
- Strong background in computerized or automated controls.
