Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial production machinery, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and unplanned repairs on motors, gearboxes, VFD/HMI/Servo controls, and conveying systems
• Analyze machine error messages and test results to identify equipment malfunctions
• Operate and support industrial refrigeration, boiler, and utility operations
• Disassemble, clean, lubricate, and reassemble machinery and equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, manufacturers' manuals, and electrical schematics
• Complete accurate documentation of maintenance records and work orders in MIS/ERP systems
• Comply with all safety regulations, SOPs, and GMP guidelines to ensure a safe production environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration and high-pressure boilers
• Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Strong electrical background and mechanical skills
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Willingness to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends as necessary
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with computerized or automated controls
• Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems
