Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and quarterly routine inspections and replacements
• Record tasks accurately on the maintenance schedule and report to Project Manager monthly
• Order maintenance supplies and maintain inventory of tools and equipment
• Prepare units for occupancy including cleaning, disinfecting, painting, and patching
• Replace windows, doors, locks, and lights
• Keep walkways and parking areas free of debris
• Oversee maintenance of lawns, garden areas, and sprinkler systems
• Report health and safety hazards, injuries, and accidents immediately
• Maintain work order logs and repair/reports filing systems
• Solicit bids for necessary work as directed

Requirements

• Experience in routine repair and maintenance of buildings, landscaping, and appliances
• Ability to work and make decisions without supervision
• Physically able to perform maintenance tasks
• Strong organizational skills and ability to accurately record information
• Valid California driver’s license with a good driving record and automobile insurance
• Reliable transportation and willingness to use own automobile for work
