Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Handle small repairs and maintenance tasks, ranging from fixing leaky faucets to repairing furniture
• Monitor technical installations and ensure all systems run reliably
• Coordinate and supervise external service providers for facility management tasks
• Perform manual tasks such as painting and silicone work
• Collaborate closely with the Housekeeping team and the Corporate Office
• Oversee regular maintenance schedules and safety checks in coordination with the Maintenance Manager
• Manage material procurement and ordering in consultation with the Hotel Manager

Requirements

• Proven manual dexterity and strong technical understanding
• Previous professional experience in a similar maintenance or technical role
• Completed vocational training in HKLS (Heating, Cooling, Sanitary) or Electrical fields is preferred, but practical experience is highly valued
• Ability to efficiently manage and supervise external contractors
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Fluency in German; English language skills are a plus
