About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive diagnostic, preventive, and corrective maintenance for production facilities
  • Conduct routine inspections to proactively identify and address potential issues
  • Complete electromechanical component repair and replacement
  • Diagnose and resolve complex electromechanical problems promptly
  • Participate in safety audits and investigations
  • Collaborate with maintenance planners, supervisors, and managers on scheduling
  • Manage equipment maintenance across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation systems
  • Maintain daily production records, KPIs, and downtime information
  • Troubleshoot electrical control systems, including motors and PLCs

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or Equivalent
  • Extensive technical expertise in troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Hands-on experience with complex mechanical systems
  • Proficiency in reading mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Experience with AC/DC electrical systems, motion control, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • Familiarity with 480 VAC and lower voltages
  • Understanding of NEC codes and NFPA 70E practices
  • Proficiency in using CMMS
  • Physical ability to stand, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in challenging conditions (noise, dust, chemicals, temperature extremes) while wearing full PPE

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates degree, Trade School, or Military technical background
  • Experience with heavy commercial equipment, conveyors, pump rebuilds, rigging, and machine installations
