Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building and facility maintenance
• Carry out minor repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry
• Inspect equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
• Conduct preventative maintenance according to established schedules
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records
• Liaise with external contractors for specialist repairs
• Support setup and breakdown of equipment or furniture for events

Requirements

• Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, or handyman role
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues independently
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Reliable, flexible, and proactive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
