Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and preventative maintenance for appliances, plumbing, HVAC, minor electrical, gate systems, and pool operations
• Complete resident maintenance work orders and update service requests in the database
• Prepare vacant apartments for rent through repairs, touch-ups, and light cleaning
• Maintain common areas including clubhouse, leasing office, grounds, and parking decks
• Support the Maintenance Manager by monitoring contractor performance and adhering to budgets
• Maintain a professional appearance and communicate clearly with residents

Requirements

• 1–3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in apartment communities
• Strong troubleshooting skills and basic budgeting understanding
• Ability to obtain refrigeration certification (Type II or Universal) within 90 days
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Physical ability to climb ladders up to 40 feet and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to move appliances using a hand truck
