About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repair tasks for appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, gates, and pools
  • Complete preventive maintenance inspections and respond to after-hours emergency calls
  • Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents to ensure move-in readiness
  • Maintain amenity areas, common spaces, and property equipment
  • Deliver exceptional resident service through professional communication and timely resolution of concerns
  • Maintain an organized maintenance shop and monitor inventory levels
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager with daily operations and vendor coordination

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • EPA Refrigerant Certification (Type II or Universal) or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • Ability to use hand tools, testing equipment, and maintenance machinery safely
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting, climbing, and moving heavy equipment
