Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist in all maintenance requests, preventative maintenance, and amenity area maintenance
• Complete work orders for appliances, plumbing, HVAC, minor electrical, and pool operations
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests after business hours
• Prepare vacant apartments to make them rent ready
• Maintain maintenance shop inventory and organization
• Interact with residents and prioritize customer service
• Maintain logbooks and enter service requests into the database
• Monitor contractor work performance
• Perform light cleaning duties for models, clubhouses, and amenity areas if required

Requirements

• 1-3 years of maintenance experience
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Refrigeration certification (Type 2 or Universal) or ability to obtain within 90 days
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 300 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders up to 40 feet
