Maintenance Technician - Plastic Injection and Robotics

About the Company

Knauf Industries is a division of the Knauf Group, specializing in the design and manufacture of packaging, insulation, and technical products. Our site in Dreux (28) specializes in plastic injection for the food industry, producing 180 million parts per year using 29 high-speed presses.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor preventive, curative, and conditional maintenance plans
• Participate in intervention follow-up and planning of preventive operations
• Manage critical spare parts and the maintenance warehouse, including material orders
• Contribute to the structuring of maintenance operations through a methodical, productivity-oriented approach
• Assist in developing specifications for new equipment
• Propose technical improvements to enhance profitability, reliability, and safety
• Respect hygiene, safety, environment, and food safety regulations

Requirements

• Mechanical Technician or equivalent experience with strong field practice
• 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an industrial production environment
• Mastery of industrial maintenance fundamentals and associated regulations
• Knowledge of continuous improvement tools such as FMEA (AMDEC)
• Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
