About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, adjustments, and repairs on production equipment, general facilities, and utility systems.
  • Participate in multi-skill activities including machine repair, pipefitting, and HVAC work.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, diagnostics, and proactive maintenance of mechanical equipment in a cost-effective manner.
  • Read and interpret equipment schematics, logic diagrams, and engineering drawings.
  • Utilize electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, clamp-on current meters, and meggers safely.
  • Ensure all work complies with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Make recommendations for improving machine performance and participate in safety training programs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 4-5 years of related experience in Electrical, HVAC/Refrigeration, mechanical, or pipefitter trades.
  • Ability to read equipment schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency with electrical testing equipment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and computer literacy.
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of pharmaceutical utility systems and operations.
  • EPA 608 Certification (Universal).
  • Knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) operations.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including air handling units and refrigeration components.
