Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, PLC, and VFD control system problems involving processing, packaging, and material handling equipment.
• Maintain plant HVAC, compressed air, vacuum, and fire protection systems.
• Install processing and packaging equipment mechanically and electrically according to engineering specifications.
• Support equipment startup efforts, including operator training and the revision of technical drawings.
• Provide technical advice to engineering, maintenance, and production personnel to resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain housekeeping practices according to Plant Visual Factory standards.
• Adhere to all security, safety, environmental, quality, and food safety policies, including the consistent use of PPE.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician.
• Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in VFD Drive programming and troubleshooting.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical problems for motor and equipment controls up to 480V three-phase.
• Experience in welding (steel, stainless steel, and other metals), pipe fitting, and torch cutting.
• Knowledge of the disassembly and repair of gear reducers and pumps.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-year Associate's Degree in Electronics or Electrical Trade.
• Boiler License.
• Waste Water Treatment Operators License.
