Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Handle maintenance service requests to high quality standards
• Prepare apartment units for occupancy, including basic drywall, painting, and rough carpentry
• Maintain the physical integrity and curb appeal of the community
• Evaluate, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, electrical, and major appliance systems
• Maintain pool/spa equipment and HVAC systems

Requirements

• 1+ years of technical, vocational, or on-the-job maintenance experience
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons
• Availability for emergency on-call maintenance, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays
• HVAC certification (Type II or Universal) is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of proper safety procedures and an exemplary customer service ethic
