About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintains a comfortable, safe and secure environment for residents, families, visitors, and partners
- Performs general maintenance tasks including repairs, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Assists with moving residents' furnishings and painting living quarters
- Supports the preventative maintenance program for equipment cleaning and repair
- Maintains documentation for fire safety, disaster plans, fire alarm testing, and generator logs
- Assists with transportation tasks as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Ohio driver’s license and insurable status
- Experience with HVAC and electrical systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior maintenance department experience
- Experience working in a healthcare facility
