About the role

Responsibilities

  • Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and implement corrective actions
  • Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment at scheduled intervals
  • Make necessary adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality standards
  • Execute equipment changeovers to required SKUs and perform scheduled upgrades
  • Test equipment for proper operation and safety compliance
  • Clear jams and verify equipment functionality prior to returning to operations
  • Examine, test, and measure products using gauges and instruments to ensure quality specifications
  • Repair and adjust small machines, including drill presses, punch presses, and hand tools
  • Work from technical drawings, sketches, specifications, schematics, and manufacturer manuals

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of skilled trades and manufacturing practices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Proficiency in basic reading, writing, and computation skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with co-workers
