About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and implement corrective actions
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment at scheduled intervals
- Make necessary adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality standards
- Execute equipment changeovers to required SKUs and perform scheduled upgrades
- Test equipment for proper operation and safety compliance
- Clear jams and verify equipment functionality prior to returning to operations
- Examine, test, and measure products using gauges and instruments to ensure quality specifications
- Repair and adjust small machines, including drill presses, punch presses, and hand tools
- Work from technical drawings, sketches, specifications, schematics, and manufacturer manuals
Requirements
- Five (5) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of skilled trades and manufacturing practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency in basic reading, writing, and computation skills
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with co-workers
